- The objective of the June 21, 2007 workshop was to discuss the prioritization of potential management strategies that may be applicable to Jamaica Bay, and would be considered for inclusion in the Watershed Protection Plan.

- The objective of the December 7, 2006 workshop was to solicit comments from technical experts, agency staff, representatives of community organizations, and members of the general public on specific management strategies applicable to Jamaica Bay for inclusion in the Watershed Protection Plan (WPP).
- Presentation by Emily Lloyd (NYCDEP)
- After the presentation, attendees split-up into breakout groups to address the 6 goals of the WPP.
