Several reports have been produced as part of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) African and Latin American Resilience to Climate Change (ARCC) project:

  • A Review of Downscaling for Climate Change Projections (September 2014, 56 pages, 2.2 MB PDF). A state-of-the-art review of downscaling methods for climate change projections, by Sylwia Trzaska and Emilie Schnarr.
  • Spatial Climate Change Vulnerability Assessments: A Review of Data, Methods, and Issues (August 2014, 70 pages, 3.2 MB PDF). A review of data and methods for spatial climate change vulnerability assessments, including the use of remote sensing data, by Alex de Sherbinin.
  • Mali Climate Vulnerability Mapping (January 2014, 121 pages, 8.3 MB PDF). This report maps climate vulnerability hotspots in Mali, West Africa, using a spatial vulnerability index comprised of 18 indicators grouped into three vulnerability components: climate exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity.
  • Mapping the Exposure of Socioeconomic and Natural Systems of West Africa to Coastal Climate Stressors (October 2014, 83 pages, 4.2 MB PDF).This climate vulnerability mapping study covers the Guinea Current countries, extending from Guinea-Bissau in the Northwest to Cameroon in the Southeast.
