Yasmine Daouk

Bio

Yasmine Daouk is a Senior Staff Assistant at the Center for Integrated Earth System Information (CIESIN) of the Columbia Climate School. At CIESIN, she is a member of the information technology Division, where she is responsible for data acquisition, QA/QC, and Geospatial data coding and debugging. Yasmine has contributed to multiple projects at CIESIN and for the NASA Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC), including projects on air quality groups on the development of big data from Machine Learning models, the IPCC AR6 Climate Change Risk Assessment Database, and the Observed and Projected Impact Assessment Database.  Before joining CIESIN, Yasmine was an environmental analyst intern at Khoury Consulting in Beirut, Lebanon. She holds an MS in geographic information science from Lehman College CUNY (2023) and an MS in marine sciences from the National University of Ireland Galway  (2018).
