Bio
Matthew Heaton is a Senior Research Staff Assistant at the CIESIN in the Climate School at Columbia University. Matthew is a member of the Geospatial Applications Division and contributes to the GRID3 project as principal cartographer. He holds a BA in Geography from the State University of New York at Geneseo and is currently completing an MS in Computational Design Practices at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. His academic interests include critical geography, experimental cartography, human-computer interaction, and creative coding.
