Hasim Engin

Hasim Engin is a Staff Associate II at the Center for Integrated Earth System Information (CIESIN) of the Columbia Climate School. At CIESIN, he is a member of the Geospatial Applications Division, where he is responsible for building data processing pipelines, develop data harmonization/integration processes and create geospatial population, settlements, and infrastructure datasets.  Hasim has contributed GRID3 project at CIESIN. Prior to joining CIESIN, Hasim was a Research Assistant at the CUNY Institute for Demographic Research. He holds an MS in Geographic Information Science from the Lehman College, 2017 and a BA Geography from Marmara University, Istanbul, 2007.
