The World Bank's Groundswell Report Series

From 2017-2021, CIESIN partnered with the City University of New York (CUNY) Institute for Demographic Research on climate migration modeling for reports in the World Bank's Groundswell series.  These include two flagship reports for the Climate Department, Groundswell I and II, and two regional reports for Africa. The original Groundwell report has been downloaded more than 150,000 times since its release in 2018, with more than 1,300 citations as of 2026.   Included in this collection is an unpublished report on Ethiopia that has been released as a preprint via ResearchGate.
